Churches make lunch to tackle holiday hunger
Make Lunch is a national initiative led by churches to provide free hot meals and activities to do at times in the school holidays.
The idea is to address what has become known as "holiday hunger", which occurs when less well-off children don't have access to free school dinners during school holiday periods.
In Bath, two churches with a leading role in Make Lunch are Hayhill Baptist Church at The Paragon and Southdown Methodist Church at The Hollow.
Southdown Methodist Church is planning to hold a Make Lunch session for the Christmas holiday on the 2nd of January from 11.30am to 1.15pm. To book your place please phone: 07493 939859.
